Feng Shui, literally translated, means Wind and Water. It is a system of philosophy, a practice and art that has been used for thousands of years as a method of creating balance between people and their environments.

Almost every culture of the world reflects some awareness of the power of placement and the value of understanding the environments we inhabit in its wisdom teachings. It is this ancient legacy that Feng Shui practitioners seek to enliven, embrace, uphold and share. At the deepest level of understanding, Feng Shui is the interplay between the seen (our surroundings) and the unseen (energy and intention). Feng Shui acknowledges the interconnectedness of all things.
Scientific studies prove that our environment greatly influences our mental, physical, and emotional well – being. When our homes feel safe, nurturing, and inspiring, we have better health, a more positive outlook, improved relationships, and greater success. So many people today lead hectic and stressful lives. They want to come home to a place that creates a sense of peace, beauty, security, and comfort.

Meet the Versa Team of Keller Williams Realty!

I meet amazing people everyday and I’m so impressed when I’m introduced to people who have a passion for their jobs like I do.

As a wedding planner, I get asked for advice on all sorts of subjects. Once in a while I have a young couple in the process of buying their first home right in the middle of planning their wedding! So to help them (and me) keep the stress level down and the focus on fun and excitement…I turn to the best realtors in San Diego.

It’s my pleasure to introduce you to Dave Werth and Mary Aronoff :

Dave Werth graduated from California State University San Marcos with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. Directly out of college, Dave spearheaded Milieu Networks LLC, a startup indoor advertising and software firm, where he served as managing partner and head of business development.

With a passion for real estate investment, and desire to make a career out of it, Dave made the move to Keller Williams Realty where he has been building the Versa Team over the past two years. The Versa Team offers a full scope of services from representing buyers to assisting distressed homeowners that are facing foreclosure.

In 2010, Dave became a Certified Distressed Property Expert, sharing this designation with a very small percentage of Realtor’s in the U.S. As a member of numerous professional organizations, Dave is actively involved in his community, and is consistently making efforts to improve his team.

Dave enjoys playing music, home brewing, and spending  time with his beautiful wife and two children.

I would like to begin by saying that real estate is in my blood. I have always had an interest in homes, especially rehab and renovation, for as long as I can remember. Out of college, getting my real estate license was the natural “next step.” I moved to the beautiful city of San Diego, upon graduation from the University of Arizona, for the sunny weather and bounty of things to do.  This truly is America’s Finest City.

My most recent accomplishment in my professional life was receiving the Certified Distressed Property Expert designation. The housing market and the economy as a whole, has caused hardship for many people. With this CDPE designation, I feel confident that I can help those who are in difficult situations and provide them with thorough and accurate advice. I want to help people avoid the wrath of harassing phone calls, threatening mail from the bank and ultimately, foreclosure.

My passions include spending time with friends and family, playing soccer, cooking, spending time outdoors whenever possible, networking (especially my professional BNI networking group) and meeting new people and of course, helping people buy and sell real estate.

Top Ten Questions. Get to know ABM Wedding Photography

1. Please list the name and URL of your company

ABM Wedding Photography   -   www.abmweddingphotos.com

2. Where in San Diego are you located?

Our studio address is:  7920 Miramar Road Ste 121 San Diego CA 92126

3. What made you want to become a Wedding Professional in your field?

I fell in love with the art of documenting during my time as a photojournalist at various newspapers in San Luis Obispo County. Working as a staff photojournalist, I was constantly seeking misery and destruction for headline news. After a while it was hard to be passionate about negativity and I began my apprenticeship with one of the best wedding photography studios in Santa Barbara, Reflections Photography Studio. Wedding photography offers me a chance to make a meaningful impact on peoples lives on one of their most important days.

4.  Can you please give an example of your work and tell us a little about this photo and why it is special to you.

This photo is special to me for a number of reasons.  First, the San Diego Trolley is a very iconic feature to our amazing city.  I love the frozen reflection of Petco Stadium amongst the blur of the trolley.  One of my favorite things about this photo is that I’m using a technique that most portrait photographers do not.  In fact, landscape photographers usually use it.  It is called “Motion Blur,” which is extremely slow shutter speeds with the camera on a tripod to allow the sharp Bride/Groom and the motion of the trolley to be captured.  This is an example of how I look for photographic inspiration in all types of photography.

5. During your initial consultation with a new client, what type of questions do you ask?

-I generally start by asking basic questions about their wedding.

-Location, guest count, colors, wedding party details, wedding themes

-I always ask what they are looking for in photography

-I like to talk about how the couple met or how he proposed to her

6. What type of services do you offer?

-Wedding, engagement and event photography

                -Flush-mount coffee table albums

-Prints on: photographic paper, canvas and metal

                -Unlimited wedding day coverage

-No Disc Drama (clients receive high resolution files with rights and no studio logo)

7. Do you travel outside of San Diego County?

Yes, I travel all over the globe.  In fact, I just got back from a destination wedding in the Dominican Republic last week.

8. What new trends do you see happening in your field?

I’m noticing a new trend with Tilt/Shift lenses.  This is a special lens that is predominantly used for architecture photography, which allows the focus plane to cut diagonally through the frame as opposed to parallel to the bottom of the frame.  It is a little tricky to explain, but it offers a very unique effect.  Another trend that has been around for some time but is still going strong is the use of Filters.  I’m seeing a lot of “antique” filters being used.  Photo Booths are becoming very popular now also.

9. What trends do think are on the way out?

Anything but the “Flushmount” style album is outdated.  Abuse of the “Fish-eye” lens is on the way out also.  I have a “Fish-Eye” lens, and often love the shots, but I feel it should be used appropriately.

10. What do you want Brides and Grooms know most about your company?

Our goal is to create a photo essay that blends fine-art photography, photojournalism, and casual portraits. We strive to produce a visual story of your wedding in a more emotional and artistic way. Working throughout the day with a minimum of direction and posing allows you to relax and remember your wedding as a day spent with family and friends.

ABM Wedding Photography offers unlimited hours with EVERY package and we include a disc with no Disc Drama.  We would love for you to take a look at our website/Facebook and consider ABM for your wedding photography
